Borealis Coffee Shop
Borealis Coffee arrived in Riverside Square in 2016. Owner Brian Dwiggins envisioned a transformation of the Square’s former train depot into a quaint coffee shop.

Borealis serves the residents of Riverside, including a regular stream of potential customers entering the Square through the heavily traveled East Bay Bike Path. In addition to the café, Borealis also maintains a coffee roasting wholesale business operation on the property at 250 Bullocks Point Avenue, selling their on-site roasted coffee products to a variety of end-users in the wholesale market and even at retail online.
