University Orthopedics recently celebrated the opening of its new 90,000 square foot medical office and surgical center at 1 Kettle Point Avenue in the City's Waterfront District.  The new office offers the latest in orthopedic treatments in a convenient and easily accessible location.  Featuring professional design aesthetics, the new facility showcases Smart Building Technology integrated with the highest level of interior fit-out and finishes available in the market. Each suite is designed to reflect the particular needs of the orthopedic specialty area it serves.  An Ambulatory Surgical Center, diagnostic imaging (MRI, X-ray and EOS low radiation X-ray) and physical therapy/rehabilitation facilities feature prominently in the extensive scope of services offered.  The development project consolidates several existing University Orthopedics Rhode Island offices and has brought approximately one hundred employees to the site, with plans to add more workers in the future.
